We center on the emotional well-being of those engaged in advocacy. As well as the emotional wellbeing of what it takes working in a collective. We also support the emotional regulation and inner peace of navigating stress and power dynamics in systems.

Through education and praxis we address how ableism shows up within groups and shared spaces, fostering more reflective, supportive and accountable environments.

We also warmly welcome and support organizations and individuals committed to disability justice who are striving to create more inclusive movement spaces. We do this by providing access to resources, training, and technical assistance that help develop and sustain accessible, equitable environments where disabled people are valued and fully included.

Empathy, care, support, and community are essential components for neurodivergent and autistic individuals in managing and maintaining mental wellness. Many must navigate life, environments, and systems that are not designed to meet their individual needs. Communication with neurotypical individuals can often lead to feelings of loneliness and frustration due to being misunderstood.

This monthly group offers a clinically informed environment that supports emotional wellness and interpersonal connection. Sessions incorporate evidence-informed practices such as grounding techniques, emotional regulation strategies, and guided peer discussions to promote resilience and overall well-being.

Participants are given opportunities to build meaningful social connections, share lived experiences in a respectful setting, and develop self-advocacy skills relevant to both healthcare and daily life. This group is designed to complement ongoing clinical care by fostering a sense of community, enhancing coping capacity, and supporting participants as they navigate complex emotional and health-related challenges.

Our community care clinic offers free and low cost access to grief informed trauma care, Reiki, expressive arts, mindfulness and sound healing practices for the community.

Our mindfulness training was developed for people with disabilities teaches simple, practical tools to help you slow down, notice your feelings, and respond to stress with more kindness toward yourself. Participants learn ways to calm their bodies, sharpen focus, and build emotional resilience in everyday life. We offer group and one-on-one classes for people at any experience level.

Our Approach

We live in a disconnected world marked by suffering, stress, and systems that can be hard to navigate. We often, without meaning to, participate in and sustain patterns of disconnection in our homes, workplaces, institutions, and communities.

You may have found yourself in spaces where something feels “off”—where exclusion, hostility, microaggressions, or a lack of genuine teamwork seem to linger in the air. These dynamics can show up in many systems: in our families, workplaces, classrooms, medical appointments, places of worship, social circles, and organizing spaces. You are not imagining these tensions; they live both inside us and around us. Sometimes we stand on the receiving end of these patterns, and sometimes—often unintentionally—we are the ones contributing to them.

Human beings are deeply relational. We long for real connection: with the natural world, with other people, and with our own inner life. When those connections are thin or broken, life becomes heavy. Love can feel distant or out of reach. Fear begins to replace trust, and loneliness can deepen into isolation.

In disruptive seasons—especially during illness, disability, chronic health challenges, and the approach or reality of death—we need more than technical expertise. We need living, human connection. We need nurturing care that holds us, our loved ones, and our caregivers with gentleness and respect. We need care that extends beyond the purely medical, into the spiritual and emotional dimensions of our lives.

Such living connection, person to person, creates a sturdy, compassionate container in which fear, grief, and uncertainty can be named and gently tended. As a chaplain and spiritual counselor, my role is to be present with you in those turbulent times, to listen deeply, and to help cultivate spaces of safety, meaning, and hope.

Think of your life—and the lives of those you care for—as a garden. Experiences of stress, illness, and loss can feel like storms that beat down the soil, leaving the ground compacted and the roots exposed. My work as chaplain is to come alongside you as a careful gardener: turning the soil of your stories, pulling up the weeds of shame and isolation, gently watering seeds of courage and compassion, and helping you notice the resilient shoots that are already growing. Together, we tend this garden so that, even in hard seasons, something healing, rooted, and beautifully alive can continue to grow..

Our Team

Esho B. Buil is an Endorsed Interfaith Movement Chaplain and Integrative Energy Care Practitioner with more than two decades of experience accompanying low‑income communities, grassroots disability rights organizers, and agencies at the local, state, and federal levels. Helping to expand access, dignity, and equity in healthcare and community life for people with disabilities. She has supported individuals and organizations through conflict, transformation, and change.

Drawing from a deep background in leadership development, disability inclusion, and spiritual care, she helps companies, congregations, and community groups navigate difficult conversations across lines of identity, power, and significant difference with skill, clarity, and compassion, cultivating emotionally safe, accessible, and inclusive environments where disabled and non-disabled people can learn, heal, and lead with integrity.

Her own journey as a person living with Disability, and then as a parent to a son with Autism, allowed her to experience and observe first hand the challenges and disconnection that exist all around.

This prompted spiritual and emotional journey 35 years ago. Followed by academic training, certifications, clinical placements, and volunteer work at the local, state and federal level to support the garden to grow.

Our newest Program launching in October is calling on those ready to engage in a deep exploration of interconnectedness. Supporting our emotional well-being to cultivate coping mechanisms in navigating power dynamics and systems. To collectively sustain and strengthen efforts that advance disability rights and promote social, racial, and environmental justice within our communities.

Application questions will be used to support the aspects of what will be covered to ensure self-care/community care to be addressed.
